TO START, DRAW A SKETCH WITH BASIC LINES, THEN CONCENTRATE ON SHADING AND BLENDING.
To draw a sketch, you need some primary material.
PAPER: Anyhow, you can use any type of paper, but for good results, you should use standard drawing paper.
PENCIL: For shading purposes, you will need pencils in different colors and shades like HB, 2B, 6B, etc.
ERASER RUBBER: During drawing the sketches, you will need eraser rubbers.
SHARPENERS: To sharpen the pencils and have the sharp tip of the pencil, you should buy good quality sharpeners.
BLENDER OR SOFT WOOL: For the sketch to look more real to the original photo after shading, you will need a blender, which can be tortillon, blending stamps, or blending makeup brushes too. However, a small piece of paper towel or a small quantity of soft wool ball for can be used blending purposes.
STEPS TO DRAW THE SKETCH.
Draw a basic sketch: First, draw simple and basic lines of your sketch. It will be the primary shape of the original photo.
Add on details: When you have drawn the basic shape of the sketch then, start working on its details.
Shading: Try to show originality and depth in your drawing through shading; you can use different pencil shades.
Blending: Give soft looks to your shades with blenders, paper towels, or soft wool balls.
REVIEW:
Have a final view of your work to look for any shortcomings. Then, give a final touch to your masterpiece.
