Proven SEO Strategies for Blog Writing: Rank Higher & Get More Traffic

Master SEO Strategies: Write Engaging Blog Posts That Rank #1

(THIS VIDEO EXPLAINS THE ABOVE-MENTIONED MAJOR HEADING BRIEFLY.)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the key to driving organic traffic and keeping readers hooked on your blog. By mastering effective strategies, you can create content that resonates with your audience while ranking high on search engines. Let’s explore actionable tips to elevate your blog's visibility and impact!

Here are some of the best practices for optimizing blog posts for SEO:

Choose the Right Keywords:

Conduct keyword research to find relevant terms with good search volume and low competition. Utilize tools like Google Keyword Planner or SEMrush to identify keywords that are frequently searched but not overly saturated with competition. This ensures your content has a better chance of ranking higher in search engine results.

Focus on long-tail keywords to target specific audiences: Long-tail keywords are more specific phrases that cater to niche audiences, such as "How to bake a gluten-free chocolate cake." These terms have lower competition and higher conversion potential, helping you connect with readers who are actively seeking what you offer.

Optimize Titles and Headings:

Use primary keywords in the blog title and major headings: Incorporate your target keywords naturally in the title and headings to enhance their relevance to search engines. This ensures your content aligns with user search queries, boosting its chances of appearing in search results.

Make the title catchy and under 60 characters to improve click-through rates: Craft concise yet compelling titles that spark curiosity and include a call to action or a unique hook. Keeping titles under 60 characters ensures they display fully on search engine result pages, maximizing visibility.

Create High-Quality Content:

Ensure your content is original, informative, and provides value to readers: Craft unique and well-researched content that delivers actionable insights, solving the reader’s problems or answering their queries. High-quality content not only keeps your audience engaged but also establishes your authority and trustworthiness.

Address your audience's search intent effectively: Understand what your readers are looking for—whether it’s answers, tutorials, or in-depth analysis—and tailor your content to meet their needs. Aligning with their intent ensures your blog resonates with them and improves its relevance for search engines.

Use a Clear Structure:

Break content into sections with H1, H2, and H3 headings: Organize your blog into a logical structure with descriptive headings to guide readers effortlessly through the content. Clear headings also help search engines understand your content, improving its chances of ranking well.

Use bullet points or numbered lists to make the content scannable: Present key information in concise bullet points or numbered lists to enhance readability. This format not only keeps readers engaged but also caters to those who skim through articles for quick insights.

Include Relevant Internal and External Links:

Link to other relevant articles on your site to boost engagement: Internal links guide readers to additional content on your website, encouraging them to explore further and spend more time on your site. This not only improves user engagement but also strengthens your site's overall SEO through better link structure.

Use external links to credible sources to enhance trustworthiness: Linking to authoritative sources adds credibility to your content and shows search engines that your blog is well-researched. Be sure to choose high-quality and relevant external links to establish trust with your readers.

Optimize Meta Descriptions:

Write concise meta descriptions (under 160 characters) with primary keywords: Create meta descriptions that are short and impactful, incorporating the main keyword naturally. This helps search engines and users quickly understand your content, increasing the likelihood of clicks.

Ensure they give a clear summary of the blog content: Craft a compelling overview that highlights the most important aspect of the blog. A clear and engaging meta-description entices readers to explore further and aligns with their search intent.

Utilize Alt Text for Images:

Add descriptive alt text to images using relevant keywords: Alt text not only improves accessibility for visually impaired users but also helps search engines understand the content of your images. By including relevant keywords in the alt text, you can enhance your blog's SEO performance.

Compress images to enhance page load speed: Optimizing the size of images reduces page load time, ensuring a smoother user experience. Faster-loading pages rank higher on search engines and keep visitors engaged for longer durations.

Focus on Readability:

Write in a conversational tone, using short sentences and paragraphs: Engage your readers by writing as if you're speaking directly to them, making your content more relatable and approachable. Short sentences and paragraphs improve clarity and keep readers interested, especially when they’re scanning your blog.

Avoid jargon unless it’s necessary for your audience: Use simple and accessible language that resonates with your readers. If industry-specific terms are unavoidable, provide clear explanations to ensure your content is inclusive and easy to understand.

Incorporate Multimedia:

Use images, videos, and infographics to make content engaging: Visual elements like images, videos, and infographics enhance your blog's appeal and help convey complex ideas more effectively. Engaging multimedia content keeps readers interested and can improve social media shares, boosting your blog's reach.

Ensure multimedia elements are optimized for fast loading: Compress files and use appropriate formats to ensure quick loading times without sacrificing quality. Optimized multimedia elements improve user experience and contribute to better rankings in search engine results.

 Improve Page Speed and Mobile-Friendliness:

Optimize the blog for mobile users: With most people accessing content on mobile devices, ensure your blog is responsive and adapts seamlessly to smaller screens. Use mobile-friendly layouts, fonts, and navigation to enhance user experience and reduce bounce rates.

Use tools to check and improve page load times: Utilize tools like Google Page Speed Insights or GTmetrix to identify performance issues. Address factors such as large images or excessive plugins to boost loading speed and improve search engine rankings.

Encourage Engagement:

Add a call to action (CTA) to guide users to comment, share, or explore more content. Encourage readers to take specific actions, such as leaving a comment, sharing the blog, or clicking related links. Clear and compelling CTAs boost interaction and keep readers engaged with your content.

Promote your blog on social media platforms to increase visibility: Share your blog posts on social media channels like Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn to reach a broader audience. Engaging captions and hashtags can help attract more readers and drive traffic to your website.

Update Content Regularly:

Refresh older posts with updated information to keep them relevant: Periodically review and update your blog posts with the latest facts, statistics, or trends to ensure they remain valuable to readers. Keeping your content fresh signals to search engines that your site is active and up-to-date.

Fix broken links and outdated references: Regularly check for broken links and remove or replace them with working credible ones. Updating outdated references enhances user experience, builds trust with your audience, and maintains your blog's authority.

Wrapping up

Mastering SEO for blog writing involves a combination of strategic planning, engaging content, and technical optimization. By applying these best practices—like keyword research, clear structure, and multimedia use—you can create blogs that rank higher and captivate readers. Regular updates and fostering engagement further strengthen your blog’s reach and credibility. With these insights, you're well-equipped to elevate your blogging game!

The Fall of the Ottoman Caliphate: An Epic End to Six Centuries of Power and Glory Across Three Continents

Unraveling the Epic Legacy of the Ottoman Empire: From Ascension to the Fall of the Caliphate

Unraveling the Epic Legacy of the Ottoman Empire: From Ascension to the Fall of the Caliphate
FALL OF THE OTTOMAN EMPIRE

Muslim Ummah and Ottoman Caliphate

Among the major wounds inflicted on the existence of the Muslim Ummah over a period of nearly fifteen hundred years is the collapse of the Ottoman Caliphate. This empire, which originated from a small province in Anatolia (Asia Minor), expanded during the forty-year reign of Caliph Suleiman the Magnificent or Suleiman the Magnificent in the sixteenth century and reached east of the Red Sea, from North Africa to the Balkan states and beyond to the walls of Vienna in Eastern Europe. Its territory was so vast that not only Muslims but also Christians and a large number of Jews lived in peace and tranquility within it.

Due to its power and grandeur, it had become a topic of discussion for European thinkers and art experts, but the cycle of globalization took hold of it and by the end of the eighteenth century, its glory and splendor began to fade. The center of authority was the personality of the Caliph. Due to the lack of administrative division, the Caliph's grip on distant territories began to weaken.

Influential and Corrupt Pashas of Ottoman’s

Corruption took root among the influential “pashas” who formed a circle around the Caliph. The empire became economically hollow. The Jewish moneylenders and bank owners, having accumulated wealth, became richer than the state. “Coins are impossible in the factory of nature… Stability is a change in time.” In this universe of Allah Almighty, we see situations and events changing every moment. Change is change, stability belongs to no nation, neither to an individual, countries nor empires. The guidance of Allah Almighty is: “These are the ups and downs of time, which we keep circulating among the people.”

That is why it has been said that “every perfection is a decline,” meaning that whoever sees the height of rise eventually falls into the lows of decline. Great empires came. Dara and Jamshed passed away. Conquerors like Alexander and Napoleon in modern times raised flags of conquest in the world, but there was a limit to their conquests determined by nature. The empire of the Nimrods of Babylon did not survive, nor did the power of the Pharaohs of Egypt endure. “There is no tomb of Alexander, nor is there the tomb of Darius… How can the names of the people who have been erased be remembered?”

Every Perfection Meets Its Decline

Having reached this limit, the famous one himself also fell asleep in the dust, and the power of the empires also sat down as dust. In the evening, the lamp of the Umayyad Empire was extinguished, and the candles of the Abbasid Empire were lit in Baghdad. The material progress and prosperity of this empire reached its peak. It was such a knowledge of its vastness that one day, the Caliph Harun al-Rashid was standing on the roof of his palace and enjoying the weather.

A piece of cloud in the sky moved from one side of the palace to the other, so Harun al-Rashid said, “O piece of cloud! In whatever part of the world you fall, its tribute will come to my treasury.” After touching the heights of economic prosperity, civilization and civilization, the light of sciences and arts, jurisprudence and hadith, philosophy and mysticism, this empire fell prey to the terror of the Tatars. Baghdad became a ruin, and the destruction of books had turned the waters of the Tigris black. Autumn plundered the entire garden. “There are no flowers, no buds, no shoots, no leaves… How has the garden become an offering of autumn?”

An Umayyad prince, Abd al-Rahman al-Dakhil, who fled the oppression of the Abbasids and entered Andalusia through Morocco and then across the Gulf, had already left the mark of the Umayyad Empire there. For seven hundred years in Andalusia, this Muslim empire left behind traces of civilization, science, and art, whose light spread to Europe, but in 1492 AD, it too disappeared, leaving behind traces like the Mosque of Cordoba and the Alhambra Palace. Even before the decline of the Muslim empire of Andalusia, Osman I ibn Artagral had laid the foundation of a great empire in Turkey in 1299 AD.

In February 1451, in fulfillment of a hadith of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Sultan Muhammad the Conqueror defeated the Byzantine Romans and razed their magnificent towers to the ground. The Byzantine capital, Constantinople, was taken from the Romans. Constantinople was renamed Istanbul.

Then, for six hundred and twenty-four years, the Ottoman Empire showed its glory, majesty, and splendor. Until the caliphate of Sultan Abdul Hamid II, this empire had some glory and splendor, but due to the financial condition of the empire and some administrative errors, it lost its strength. The Balkan wars further weakened it.

The treasury of the empire was empty, and the Jews, taking advantage of the freedom that the Sultan had given to the Jews, had deposited all their wealth in banks in Turkey and abroad. There were also Jews who were richer than the state. They lent money to the needy among the Turkish people at high interest rates and exploited them by taking advantage of their interest. Under these circumstances, at the end of World War I, various parts of the Ottoman Empire were divided between France, Britain, and Russia. In these circumstances, the Caliphate was lifeless.

1924, Mustafa Kemal Pasha

Finally, in 1924, Mustafa Kemal struck him down with a dictatorial blow, and the institution of the Caliphate was destroyed forever. Amir Minai said in the rhyme of Haider Ali Atish Hai: “How did the name become unmarked? How did the earth consume the sky? How did it become?” But among the conspiracies against the Ottoman Caliphate on a global scale, Turkish and Arab nationalism are particularly noteworthy.

Sultan Abdul Hamid II was conservative by nature. Religious circles had an influence on him, but these circles were suffering from intellectual stagnation. The doors of ijtihad had already been closed, and the effects of Sufism were profound. The modern mind was not accepting such superstitions, which were skillfully made into a cult of Western civilization and civilization, and the “Young Turk Movement” was a manifestation of these Western-oriented tendencies.

There was no justification for Turkey to join the First World War, but there were people like Enver Pasha in its army who pushed the Ottoman Empire into this quagmire. The alliance with Germany in the war was also the result of the efforts of these people. These same people had played a heinous role in the massacres in Albania and Cyprus, the stain of which is still etched on Turkish soil.

In 1908, Sultan Abdul Hamid II accepted a demand from the “Young Turk Organization” and restored the constitution and handed over many of his powers to the parliament, but the hero of the Young Turk Revolution or the Committee of Union and Progress (CUP), Enver Pasha, whose group also included Cemal Pasha and Talat Pasha, had his own ambitions. Mustafa Kemal was also associated with the Young Turk movement, but there was competition and rivalry between Enver Pasha and Mustafa Kemal.

The situation changed, and the government that was established in January 1919 after the war ended forcibly separated Enver Pasha from the army. He fled to Germany. In his absence, he was court-martialed and sentenced to death for unnecessarily pushing the country into war, for expelling the Armenian people from the country by brutal military force, and for leaving the country without permission. This move cleared the way for Mustafa Kemal Pasha.

Power Tussle Between Mustafa Kemal Pasha and Enver Pasha

After the war, Mustafa Kemal became the master of Turkey's black and white as a powerful man. He closed the chapter of the caliphate forever in 1924. He put Turkey on the path of modernization and Westernization. Clothing, decoration, and manners all changed. In order to make the Turkish language similar to the West, the Latin script was introduced instead of the Arabic, Persian, and Urdu scripts, which caused the new generations to lose contact with the Quran and Hadith, jurisprudence and commentary, and the storehouse of knowledge and literature in Arabic.

The call to prayer for religious education and prayers, and the veil for women, as well as the hijab, i.e. the headscarf, were banned. Hagia Sophia was converted from a mosque into a museum. There is no evidence that Mustafa Kemal was a regular member of the Freemasons, but the effects of this mysterious Jewish organization on the hearts and minds of the young officers of the Young Turk Movement and the Military Medical School Academy were very deep.

If we look at the activities of the Committee of Union and Progress, which was active for about three decades in the Ottoman Caliphate, sometimes underground, sometimes in distant provinces, and sometimes in Britain, all its roles in the Turkish Revolution appear to be tools of foreign powers. During the war, Defense Minister Enver Pasha and his group had secret ties with Germany, and Mustafa Kemal was in the hands of Britain.

Regardless of whether this theory is true or false, there have been reports that the British forces deliberately retreated in the Battle of Gallipoli, giving Mustafa Kemal the opportunity to win the battle and making him a hero. Mustafa Kemal ended the Ottoman Caliphate, breaking not only Turkey's six hundred years of glorious and proud past but also Islam. According to him, Islam was not the religion of the Turks but only of the Arabs.

Rise and Fall of Muslim Empires

The existence and non-existence of empires and their rise and fall are part of the great scheme of nature, but before that, it used to happen that a Muslim empire was uprooted by the winds of decline, and then another Muslim empire was settled in another part. But the great tragedy was that in the twentieth century, the Ottoman Empire's Gulistan was devastated by its own hands to the point that there was no possibility of its population remaining. It has been a hundred years since this incident. Several movements arose to restore the Caliphate, but the institution of the Caliphate could not be restored.

Different nations and nationalities have drawn such deep lines that now the authority of a figure declared as a Caliph in one Muslim country is not accepted by another country. The empire whose flags of splendor, majesty, and awe and power flew for six hundred years and whose awe and power made three continents tremble, its cloak has been torn, and its glory and splendor has become a fictional tale. "The ignorant Turks have torn the cloak of the Caliphate... Look at the simplicity of the Muslim, look at the arrogance of others too."

The Mineral War in Ukraine: Unveiling the Battle for Natural Resources.

Impact and Implications of the Mineral Conflict in Ukraine

Impact and Implications of the Mineral Conflict in Ukraine
UKRAINE MINERAL WAR

Shifting Alliances: Germany's New Leadership and Europe's Changing Relationship with the United States

It seems that Europe is changing once again. The Christian Democratic Union in Germany has once again won the most seats, and its leader, Friedrich Merz, will be the country’s new chancellor, or head.

Friedrich Merz made two points in his speech after his victory. He said that Europe would have to gradually reduce its dependence on the United States, and the reason for this was that America’s interest in Europe had diminished. He was, of course, referring to President Trump’s statements and political and diplomatic actions over the past month.

Trump had a telephone conversation with the Russian president, followed by a meeting in Saudi Arabia between high-level American and Russian delegations, in which important issues related to the war in Ukraine came to the fore, but these talks did not involve European countries or Ukraine, which is the directly affected party.

Germany's Political Landscape: Challenges and Changes Under Friedrich Merz's Leadership

Also, President Trump has repeatedly insisted that Europe increase its financial share in its defense and Ukraine affairs. Trump wants to make a profit at all costs. The newly elected German Chancellor said that he would restore Germany’s strong position.

Remember, during the twenty years of his party’s leader, Angela Merkel, Germany not only became the most powerful economy in Europe but also emerged as the third largest economic power in the world. In Angela’s presence, it was impossible for any decision related to Europe or world affairs to be made without Germany being involved, but this time, the CDU received fewer votes than expected and could not even reach the 30 percent figure. Obviously, it will now have to form a coalition government.

The Christian Democratic Union is a centrist party, while liberal forces in Germany and Europe flourished during her tenure; however, as Merkel’s third term approached, the situation changed dramatically, mainly due to the rising tide of nationalism in Europe, which is uprooting major political pillars. The reason for the CDU’s weak success in Germany is the success of the right-wing party, the “Alternative for Germany”, which won more than 20% of the seats and emerged as the second largest party.

Its leader, Alice Weidel, was dreaming of becoming chancellor, but the outgoing chancellor, Olaf Scholz’s Social Democratic Party, won more than 16% of the seats and is also a centrist party. That is why the CDU and CDP will form a coalition government, but Alice warned that this government may be forced to hold early elections after some time.

Friedrich Merz is an experienced politician and a charismatic figure, which is why he triumphantly said, “Start working tomorrow.” However, the kind of rapid changes taking place in the Western world make it seem that if Merz carries the slogan of European self-reliance, he will gain considerable popularity among the European people. Since the disasters of World War II, Europe’s entire focus has been on liberal values.

Nationalism on the Rise: Europe's Shifting Policies and the Growing Divide with the United States

Human rights, green energy, and peace at all costs have been his manifesto, but Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the British Brexit before that have awakened Europe, and it is now rapidly turning toward nationalism. Friedrich’s party defeated the right-wing AfD, but its pressure is so intense that Friedrich was forced to say that the party’s demands will have to be considered, and a solution will have to be found. Otherwise, the extremist parties will gain strength.

In other words, he will make some compromises to meet the party’s demands. Remember, the demands of European nationalist parties are related to the expulsion of immigrants and the religious and social identification of Muslims. Germany, during Merkel’s era, was ready to open the country to a million immigrants and now refuses to take in more immigrants.

The growing distance between Europe and the United States can also be gauged from the fact that the United States opposed the European resolution on Ukraine in the Security Council, while it voted in favor of the resolution proposed by Russia, which was also passed.

When the resolution was passed, French President Macron was in Washington and was meeting with President Trump. Macron made it clear to the US administration that any deal on Ukraine would not be accepted as a surrender and that security guarantees were necessary.

He also said that a ceasefire agreement in the Ukraine war could be reached within weeks. After Macron, British Prime Minister Starmer also met with President Trump at the White House. Starmer said that European troops could be sent to Ukraine to establish peace, which would not take part in the war but would serve to prevent any Russian aggression. The European resolution condemned Russian aggression, while the Russian resolution called for an immediate end to the war.

Diplomatic Dynamics: Trump's Promises, Putin's Praise, and Europe's Strategic Calculations

Remember, Trump had promised during his presidential campaign to end the wars in Gaza and Ukraine within 24 hours, and even went so far as to say that “there would be no war if he were president,” and the funny thing is that Putin confirmed this. France and Britain did not vote in favor of the Russian resolution, but despite having veto power, they did not veto it either. This shows that the apparent gulf between Europe and America is not that deep, and both are successful in convincing each other how far they should go with Russia. A Western analyst says that the praise Putin and Trump are giving each other is actually sending the message that we are both right and everyone else is wrong.

However, other analysts say that Europe wants to see how far the Russian president can go. If he doesn't listen to them, they will have to say, "Look! We listened to everything you said; you were the one who wasn't serious about making peace and ending the war."

Strategic Mineral Diplomacy: The US-Ukraine Agreement and Its Global Implications

The United States and Ukraine are signing an agreement that will give the United States access to the most valuable and rare minerals in Ukraine. The foreign ministers of both countries will sign this agreement. President Trump has also confirmed that this mineral deal will be signed during President Zelensky’s visit to the United States. Trump also said that this would give Ukraine the right to wage war.

He said that the Ukrainian people are very brave, but without American aid and its military weapons, this war would have been very short. When he was asked, “Will the United States continue to supply weapons to Ukraine?” he replied, “Very likely, as long as there is no agreement with Russia.”

He also surprisingly agreed with the British Prime Minister’s proposal to deploy a European peacekeeping force in Ukraine until a lasting peace is established. But mineral diplomacy is a major development in the Ukraine war, and now economic interests have entered it, or rather, it would be more appropriate to say that economic issues that were kept hidden from the world have come to light.

The mineral reserves on the territory of Ukraine are of extraordinary importance. Thus, another important point of Ukraine has come to light, which has taken the war from the military field to the economic competition. Its territory contains the most important minerals, among them graphite, which is used to make electric vehicle batteries, and its quantity is said to be 19 million tons, which is five percent of the world's total.

In addition, titanium, lithium (lithium is an important component of batteries used in cars today), uranium, and many other rare metals are also included. In the language of technology, they are called "17 rare minerals", which are said to be several million tons. Some of it was also captured by Russia during the war, which is worth more than three hundred million dollars.

The United States, Europe, and Russia are also eyeing these rare natural resources, which are playing an important role in the geostrategic and geoeconomics of the new century. Their importance to the United States is also because it has been dependent on China for them so far. When Trump imposed taxes on China, China did the same in response, and these minerals were included in it. They are also called critical minerals.

According to experts, these are extremely important for the development of alternative energy, military, industrial, and infrastructure. According to the information so far, Trump has taken an extraordinary interest in the deal of these minerals, and it is quite possible that a deal has already been made by the time these lines are published. On the other hand, Europe is also interested in them, however, there is no competition between the United States and Europe, because they can become each other’s assistants in this race. Perhaps they both want these minerals to be denied to Russia. A major reason for the Ukraine war is that these minerals have now come to light, and in this regard, the importance of this country has also increased.

President Putin is well aware of the importance of these natural resources. He severely damaged Europe by stopping gas at the beginning of the war. However, in the current situation, he has not given any indication of being part of any deal related to minerals, but rather, he is showing something as if his entire concern is related to Russia's security and the safety of Russian speakers in Ukraine.

In the Ukraine- Russia war, the economy has become more important than weapons, and President Trump is an expert at playing this game, which is why he has been pressuring the Ukrainian president for minerals since day one. “This will bind the United States and Ukraine in a new future,” said Mike Walters, the US national security adviser, regarding the US-Ukraine deal.

This kind of economic diplomacy was expected even before Trump came to power. In this regard, former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that this deal would be a great reward because, in return, Ukraine would get the US's protective umbrella. However, Russia will certainly be worried about the deal that will bring the US closer to its border, especially when a president like Trump is leading the US.

US-Russia talks causes chaos in Europe

Negotiations to End the Russia-Ukraine War

Negotiations to End the Russia-Ukraine War. Meeting between two prominent political figures, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, seated at a small table with a vase of blue flowers and a notepad with a pen.
PUTIN & TRUPM SUMMIT

The war that reunited the United States and Europe has now turned these allies against each other, and this is due to the rise to power of only one person. That is, Donald Trump. A military philosopher says, “It is easy to make war, but it is very difficult to end it peacefully.”

This is exactly the situation that was seen in the negotiations to end the war in Russia and Ukraine. The story begins with a telephone call between Donald Trump and the Russian president. According to statements from both sides, the main point of this call was to end the war, but the restoration of US-Russia relations was also discussed during the talks between the presidents of the two major powers. In this regard, the initial talks between top diplomats in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, suggest that the talks were more about restoring US-Russia relations and less about a ceasefire.

Trump's Diplomatic Style and Its Impact on Western Allies

Well, the best comment on this may be that this is Trump’s typical diplomatic style, but this diplomacy has created a deep rift between the Western allies. The US wants to negotiate with Russia alone to end the war, while Europe, the European Union and Ukraine insist on the presence. Ukrainian President Zelensky even said that the US and Russia will not accept a unilateral agreement. An interesting thing happened that separate talks were held in Riyadh and Paris on the same war, and that too at a very high level.

At the moment, a khichdi( a recipe of different ingredients along with rice) seems to be brewing and how the parties will separate the lentils from the rice will be something to be seen. The Western media itself is giving the impression that Russia’s balance looked heavy in the first round of negotiations and Putin succeeded in achieving everything he wanted. They can celebrate the fact that they separated the centuries-old allies.

Trump-Putin Meeting in Saudi Arabia: Excluding Allies?

A question also arose as to what the future of NATO, the center of Western military power, will be. President Trump has maintained since his first term that NATO is for the defense of Europe, so its countries should contribute more financially to it. Remember, the United States has been bearing most of the burden so far, which is the price of leadership and being a superpower in the Western bloc.

Russia and Ukraine held talks in two capitals on the war. After an hour-and-a-half-long telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart, President Trump announced that he would meet Putin soon in Saudi Arabia on the war in Ukraine, but there was no mention of whether the other side of the war, i.e. Ukraine or America's European allies, would also be present. Did everyone give Trump a blank check? Ukraine is fighting a war, but he is not at the negotiating table.

It is going to become a member of the European Union, but no European country is part of the talks. It is certain that Trump said that he also spoke to Ukrainian President Zelensky before the Russian President’s phone call. Regarding the conversation with President Putin, Trump said in a tweet and later in a conversation with the media that both Russia and Ukraine are willing to end the war. While President Putin said in a conversation with the media that what is the need for European countries in the negotiations, they are escalating the war.

Immediately afterwards, the US Secretary of Defense told the Western Security Conference in Brussels that it is not necessary that the Russian-occupied territories be returned to Ukraine, but some may be. Remember, when the conflict in Ukraine began eleven years ago, the Russian-backed Ukrainian president fled and became a refugee in Russia, after which Russia invaded the island of Crimea, occupied it militarily and made it part of Russia.

America First: The Implications for Western Leadership

The current state of the battlefield is that Russia occupies a fifth of Ukraine, and this, like Crimea, is also a Russian-speaking area. Under the 1928 Treaty of Paris, no country can permanently occupy any part of another country, and this is considered a revolution in the history of war. The Paris Convention guaranteed the integrity of small countries; otherwise, in the past, a country that occupied another country would have simply swallowed it. Now, Russia insists that it will not give up the territories it occupied in the three-year war, and the statement of the American diplomat seems to indicate that the United States is happy with this.

The US Secretary of Defense also said that Ukraine would not be able to become part of NATO. Now the whole struggle and war was on this issue. Russia's position was that Ukraine should not become part of NATO and it attacked Ukraine on this basis. So now if Ukraine does not become part of NATO, then what justification will there be for the European Union to defend it. How will the hundreds of billions of dollars and modern equipment that Europe and the United States have given to Ukraine in the past years be accounted for?

Is this just Putin's military and diplomatic victory and is President Trump, who is also the leader of the Western alliance, presenting all this on a platter to him. Trump wants to run American policy as a businessman and his top advisors are also businessmen. They believe in “America First,” but how is it possible that America will give up its superpower role or Western leadership and fly alone? If it is not willing to listen to its allies, why would they keep it as their leader?

Have American policymakers under Trump come to the conclusion that they should now give up world leadership and live like a normal country? This question is also important because President Trump has repeatedly said that he will restore America’s greatness and make it such a great military and economic power that no one can even imagine clashing with it, but the progress that began with the Riyadh talks creates a different impression.

US-Russia Diplomatic Teams Formed in Saudi Arabia

The US Secretary of State and the Russian Foreign Minister headed their respective teams in the talks held in Saudi Arabia. No joint statement was issued from the talks, but two things definitely emerged. Four teams consisting of diplomats from both sides will be formed, which will focus on two issues.

First, the restoration of relations between the US and Russia, and second, the end of the war in Ukraine. After the Riyadh talks, the Russian Foreign Minister said, “These talks took place in a very cordial atmosphere and were very positive.” He stood by Putin’s position and said that Ukraine's joining NATO or the arrival of NATO troops in Ukraine would be unacceptable.

He probably said this for Rob, because when the American Patriot defense system and its modern artillery are there, modern European weapons have been used against it for three years, and European countries are also imposing sanctions on Russia, then this intolerable statement is just empty talk. Yes, Trump and his colleagues have also talked about Ukraine not joining NATO.

Marco Rubio on the Complexity of Ending Wars

Commenting on the current situation, American top diplomat Marco Rubio said that “the end of wars is a very complicated matter.” This is just the beginning of the journey, and that too of a war that European countries call the biggest attack since World War II. It is certain that President Putin has achieved one goal: Russia, after almost thirty years, sat down at the table with the United States as a great power. Putin’s dream of restoring the Soviet Union was at least visible on the negotiating table.

The Russian Foreign Minister's remarks reflected Putin's iron character. Putin probably asked him to do this, seeing Trump's arrogant nature, to give the world an impression of strength, but how will Russia dispel the impression that just two months ago, despite all its military and financial support, its only ally in the Middle East, Bashar al-Assad, suffered a crushing defeat in Syria. This was a complete victory for America, Europe and the Arab countries.

Along with Russia, Iran also had to take a step back. The second major breakthrough was made by Saudi Arabia, and it has once again taken a major step in international affairs after half a century. Earlier, King Faisal had shaken the world by cutting off oil supplies. Now, under the leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia is making significant progress in global diplomacy. On its soil, the United States and Russia are negotiating a major world war.

BRICS and the New World Order

This role of mediator had been assumed by Qatar until now. The second negotiations on the Ukraine war were held in Paris, in which, in addition to the European Union, the British Prime Minister also participated. French President Macron had called an emergency meeting, which was intended to make it clear that the war in Ukraine is a European war and no unilateral solution will be accepted without Europe or Ukraine.

Britain talked about deploying peacekeeping forces in Ukraine, while the head of NATO also described Russia’s actions in Ukraine as the worst aggression and said that there was no question of retreat. But during this time, the United States also continued to hold backdoor talks with Europe and Ukraine. While many European countries said that it would not be possible to defend Ukraine without the United States, they also imposed more sanctions on Russia, and this was not possible without the will of the United States.

Military and diplomatic experts are calling it a very complex and explosive situation. According to diplomatic experts, there are two strong positions on the Russia-Ukraine war and the real test will be how to find a middle ground. That is, accepting the Russian occupation and Ukraine not joining NATO. An important thing is that Russia itself is also part of Europe. Its oil and gas business is carried out with European countries. This was the case during the Soviet Union and is still the case today.

If European countries do not buy Russian oil, it will go bankrupt. All its glory and glory comes from the profits it makes from Europe. So can it achieve a lasting victory by sidelining Europe? It was an ally of European countries in the first and second world wars. Then during the Cold War, its eastern regions became part of Europe.

Putin dreams of Russia becoming a world power again, but the question is how this dream will be possible without Europe when its economy depends on Europe. The Russian Foreign Minister, realizing the current situation, said that Russia and other countries are trying to bring a new order in comparison with the Western world order, but they do not accept the West.

He mentioned China and India in the BRICS in this regard. We will mention Syria again here. Four years ago, it seemed that Russia’s military support had consolidated the power of Bashar al-Assad, a proxy of Russia and Iran, but in a week in December, everything collapsed, and Ahmed al-Sharaa emerged as the new president of Syria.

In Gaza, Russia’s ally, Iran, and its pro-government militias are also in trouble. Trump is not ready to take them into account, while in Lebanon, a US-backed person has become president, who is being put under strong pressure to eliminate Hezbollah’s military status. The US, Europe, and their Arab allies are drawing decisive lines.

Experts also believe that Russia is being given a chance to overcome the isolation it faced due to the war in Ukraine through negotiations, but the one who gives it is Trump, who, as a successful businessman, only deals for profit.

How to Empower Women: Building Your Community Abode

How to Empower Women: Building Your Community Abode

 International Women’s Day

Every year, the month of March, with the arrival of spring, also heralds the "International Women's Day". Women's rights are discussed through major forums and all media institutions. Demands for women's rights are repeated through articles and reports, and discussions are held on giving women equality, freedom, and financial independence compared to men. However, women who become fuel for the fields, beat the dust on the roads, work in brick kilns, and are domestic servants are unaware of all these activities and just wander around searching for two meals a day.

The day of March 8 passes, and no one remembers women's rights for the remaining 364 days of the year. Some of the groups worldwide organize activities for the welfare of women and play an active role in political and social service work with the help of expert women in every field of life.

These women are simultaneously subordinates to their organization leader and empowered to run their organization. We want to see women in our society educated and walking on the path of progress. Along with this, we should also uphold our religious and social traditions and teachings. There is a famous Arabic proverb.

Woman is the pillar of the building of civilization.

“Al-Nisa Imad Al-Bilad” means “Woman is the pillar of the building of civilization.” We want to protect and strengthen this pillar and see its active role in society. This year too, the different Women’s Circle, various NGO’s and political parties all over the the world including Pakistan, with its continuous ongoing series, has organized various programs for Women’s Day, while this year’s “International Women’s Day” is titled “Wherever the world is, it is with you.”

A woman is not just a person; she is a beautiful color of life, without which the picture of the world is incomplete and dull. Her love, sincerity, and sacrifice give meaning to beauty, loyalty, and emotion in life. If a woman is a daughter, she is merciful; if a sister, she is respected; if a wife, she is love; and if a mother, she takes on the form of paradise.

The Benefactor of Women

Man, due to his ignorance, showed his lack of ability in determining his status and position, while the Benefactor of women  welcomed him with his prayer and pleasant fragrance and enriched him with the wealth of faith, authority, freedom, and importance.

Now, his various statuses are being used to populate the world and play an active role in society.

She could not write the dialogues of Plato, but Plato is ready with her intellectual and practical training. She makes her home a model of paradise with her hard work and love and demonstrates her abilities in every field of life. This year, “Women’s Day” falls on the occasion of Ramadan, so we have decided to use our Quran classes and other ongoing activities during Ramadan to explain the importance of women’s rights in the Holy Quran and to popularize it in society.

The month of March has begun, and on the occasion of "International Women's Day", the voice of women's rights will rise loudly, and conferences will be held, but the fate of women will not change, and they will neither realize their duties nor will they get their rights. Why are we passing on this deprivation, sadness, and disappointment to our generations and are not even ashamed of it? It is a shame that it is increasing.

Street Children

Our children are being called “Street Children” despite the presence of our mothers, and our Muslim women are flaunting their wealth in the shopping malls of Paris and New York. Do we have any idea what kind of crime we are committing? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who brought religion, first and foremost influenced and transformed women. This word introduced her to the spirit of freedom.

“La ilaha illallah”(There is no God, But Allah)

This “La ilaha illallah”(There is no God, But Allah) freed her from all kinds of fear. This word taught us the foundation of the world and globalism. Our history was also flourishing, and our geography was also expanding. At that time, we were rulers, familiar with knowledge, and Europe was immersed in darkness and ignorance, but what happened to us then? We also became distant from knowledge and fell victim to moral decline.

First, we lost our faith and our Lord; then, we lost our identity, and today, we rejoice in killing each other and causing pain and suffering. We have lost our fertile lands, and we have mortgaged our freedom. Remember, this year's special session of the United Nations for women has been named "Beijing Plus Thirty", meaning the thirtieth anniversary of the Beijing Conference.

Beijing Conference… Fourth World Conference on Women

Good morning. The Platform for Action (BPFA) was approved at the sixteenth plenary session of the Fourth World Conference on Women (September 15, 1995) in Beijing. This platform is of great importance in giving women the right to make decisions. Under it, it was decided to work on 12 important and attention-demanding areas to improve the status of women, women and poverty, education and training, health, violence, women's issues in war and armed conflict, the economy, the role of women in government and decision-making, women's development and management methods, women's human rights, women and the media, the environment and girls, so that a strategy can be set to provide women with basic freedoms, human rights, equal rights with men at all levels and stages in the home and work.

Most importantly, women from all walks of life, from heads of state to the poor, attended the conference, which is considered the largest gathering of women in the 20th century, with nearly 30,000 women in attendance. The conference identified 12 issues that were considered major obstacles to women’s well-being. The fundamental shift that occurred at the Beijing conference was a shift from women’s issues to the idea of equality between women and men.

The conference recognized that the entire structure of society, including all the relationships between women and men, needed to be re-examined because only through restructuring could women gain full power and their place as equal partners in all spheres of life. This fundamental shift reflected the determination that women also have human rights. Also, gender equality is a global issue.

The conference unanimously adopted the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, which are milestones in the advancement of women in the 21st century. The UN General Assembly, while endorsing the Platform for Action, urged its subsidiary bodies, international organizations, NGOs, the private sector, and all countries to take effective measures to implement the recommendations of the conference. The UN was also entrusted with the important task of monitoring the implementation of the Platform for Action.

Beijing Plus Five Conference

The Special Session of the United Nations General Assembly on Women 2000, held five years after the Beijing Conference, was called “Beijing Plus Five,” and was entitled “Women 2000: Gender Equality, Development and Peace in the Twenty-First Century.”

The conference was attended by representatives of about 189 countries and about 1,200 NGOs. The purpose of the meeting was to review the implementation of the “Beijing Platform for Action” and to propose and build consensus on new measures to achieve gender equality in the coming years.

At the opening ceremony of the meeting, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan said that despite the continuous women’s conferences and the promises of governments in the 1990s, gender equality for women remained a dream and an aspiration rather than a reality. In this one week, the United Nations was the center of attention of all the people of the world and the world was able to focus its attention on women's issues better.

We also participated in these discussions. Overall, the role of Muslim countries and their NGOs in this conference was expressing the disintegration of the Muslim Ummah. The role of the Pakistani mission on this occasion was very encouraging. On this occasion, they expressed their determination not to be a part of any action against the interests of Pakistan and then fulfilled it.

The members of the mission played an effective role in preventing new additions to the agreement document by forming a joint block with representatives of other countries such as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan, Libya, Iran, and even countries practicing Catholic religions, and on this occasion, they vigorously defended the safeguards that were in terms of Islamic and moral values.

Since its proposal for a course of action for women in 1995, it has been the subject of debate in various circles. Muslim societies have reacted strongly to some parts of this document. Although Islamic movements agree on most of its contents that even today’s modern civilization has not granted women the rights they deserve as human beings, and it is also a fact that even in today’s Muslim societies, they do not enjoy the full rights that their Lord, their Messenger (peace be upon him) and their religion granted them.

Islamic countries have strong objections to those parts of this document that are likely to undermine their social and religious values and customs, in which women have been placed in opposition to men or which have seriously endangered the institution of the family.

Women's Circle, Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has been following up on BPFA since 1995, and we are proud that the Women and Family Commission of Jamaat-e-Islami has found ways to find solutions to women's problems according to our religious and social values by making every topic of women a topic of discussion. We are part of a global organization of Muslim women and we hold the presidency of its Asian region. We monitor the global program of the United Nations and make our own plans and implement them according to our religious traditions and social values.

The 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) will be held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York from 10 to 21 March 2025. This session will be held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action adopted in 1995. It will focus on the implementation of the Beijing Declaration and the review of the outcomes of the 23rd Special Session of the General Assembly.

  Final Remarks

Come! Let us celebrate International Women’s Day with renewed determination in such a way that we can be the voice of not only Pakistani women but also of women of the world. Policy-making institutions should give importance to our opinions. A woman can only progress by living in the shelter of her family and relationships full of love and protection. We have to love and respect the oppressed and disadvantaged women of our society and assure them that “wherever is inhabited, it is with you.”
